The Swedish Radio Sea Report is a classic and has provided wind and weather conditions at sea for a hundred years. For the same number of years, the health of the Baltic Sea has been deteriorating at an accelerating rate. Therefore we created a new Sea Report, with alarming facts about the state of the Baltic Sea, under the surface.
Using a format that everyone at sea (and many others) has a relationship with. A familiar voice that has always delivered the same kind of information. Now that voice reported on declining stocks of perch, increasing methane gas emissions and extreme weather, among other things.
The Baltic Sea Report became a big deal among people with a close relationship with the sea. It was distributed via the Swedish Boat Union to 917 boat clubs in Sweden. A total of 184 000 members.
