The AI used in this project is OpenAI's GPT-3, which was trained on data related to each team's lineups and instructions to write simulated commentaries for 192 matches.
"Swedish Cup is a unique opportunity for teams from the entire league system to make it all the way to a European adventure. The audio used in this unique campaign demonstrates the capabilities of AI in generating vast amounts of content in a short amount of time. The AI-generated commentaries consist of approximately 2.9 million words and 17,280 minutes of audio content, which would have been impossible for human copywriters and voice-over actors to produce within the given timeframe. Text-to-speech synthesis was then used to interpret the AI-generated texts, resulting in 32 audio tracks that are 540 minutes long, equivalent to a good night's sleep.
