2010 is already nearing its end, so we would like to take a moment to thank everyone we’ve worked with during the past year and wish you one and all a Happy New Year! To give it extra oomph we’re sending our greeting via the Snowpost service we just launched for Russian telecom Yota, produced for Tesch London. Check it out here.
What if you could freeze a moment in your ever-updating Facebook life and put it on the shelf to look at 25 years from now? Like a photo album with notes and comments – not just yours, but from all of your friends. DDB Paris and Perfect Fools recently created a Facebook app that does just that for French telecom giant Bouygues. You can see a film about the app here.

Today’s Guardian newspaper (UK) includes an article titled “Digital technology and social networking breathe new life into advertising” (MediaGuardian section, page 5). Perfect Fools is happy to announce that digital veteran Patrick Sundqvist has joined as Design Director. Patrick is trained in graphic design and photography but has also studied architecture at masters level. He started his own design firm, Supershapes, in 2002 (the same year PF was born!) and has also lectured extensively. In short Patrick brings a bag full of industry experience spanning back to the early days of digital. It’s needless to say we’re excited to have him onboard. Welcome Patrick!
Following ‘Dazzle the Rainbow’ Skittles has launched another social media first created by TBWA\London, Academy Films and Perfect Fools. Using The Super Mega Rainbow Updater Facebook fans visiting the UK Skittles page can post their current status update to a call centre operator. The operators read each update out loud before posting the video back to the user’s Facebook wall. The campaign will run for two weeks – although, like all good call centers, there will be scheduled opening hours and the office will be closed on Sundays.
Until November 13 you can try it out for yourself here.
