Producer/Project manager

We are looking for a Producer who can help Perfect Fools reach dizzying, all-new heights. Your experience is broad but you have a particularly good grip on the digital production process, from ordering to planning and all the way through delivery. You have at least three years of digital experience and you like to work with international clients, since many of Perfect Fools clients are outside of Sweden. This means you’re excellent at English, both spoken and written, and you also feel comfortable spending time on planes and conference calls to far-flung timezones. Beyond that we hope of course that you’re a pleasant and enjoyable person with a fun perspective on life. It’s always a plus.

World Design Capital 2012 Helsinki: Kauko installation

Helsinki has been elected ‘World Design Capital‘ of 2012 and invited Hasan & Partners and Perfect Fools to help spread the word and raise awareness around the importance of design. Design is all around us; the chair you sit on, the lighting in your room and the height of your screen relative to your eyes. To enable the public to explore the relationship between good and bad design, how about letting them control these design aspects, to find out work works and what doesn’t?

This idea came to life – literally – with the interactive popup café Kauko, built by GP UdstillningsDesign. A seemingly normal café serving normal coffee, but with an important twist – its furniture, service and atmosphere can be remotely controlled via a website in real time. (Kauko is Finnish for “remote control”.)

For the coming weeks Kauko will be located in Helsinki’s biggest mall Forum, before moving on to the next location. If you’re around, make sure to stop by for a cup of coffee (and don’t be surprised if you like Alice suddenly find the table far down below you!)

Would you rather control the café yourself? Head to youdesign.fi and create some good or bad design for the visitors – your pick!

Part-time Final Art/Desktop Publisher

We are looking for a talented part-time (possibly freelancer) Final Art/Desktop Publisher with mastery of the CS package, especially Indesign and Photoshop. A certain knowledge of Flash is also desirable, and it’s great if you are comfortable with basic copy work. Beyond that you need to be efficient and thorough and of course a pleasant and enjoyable person with a fun perspective on life. It’s always a plus.

The work requires you to sit at our office at Karlaplan in Stockholm between 9-12 each day. You will be part of a team consisting of art directors, copywriters and producers and work with productions for one specific client.

Told You So! A Christmas gift from The Fools

The holidays are a lovely time of peace and joy. But let’s face it: by bringing extended families into close proximity for longer periods they can also lead to the occasional… erhmm… difference of opinion.

This Christmas, instead of just sending a simple card or other thank you to those we hold dear, we at Perfect Fools wanted to give a gift with lasting human value. We thought: what better than something to promote global harmony for decades to come?

So, we give you the very first beta release of http://told-you.org.

TOLD-YOU.org is a world peace initiative of Perfect Fools. By establishing an independent, unbiased and incorruptible repository that records exactly who told what to whom, we think we may just have solved one of the most nagging, age-old problems of human existence.

If nothing else, hopefully it might someday help you to win an additional argument or two!

Converse ‘Canvas’ one of CR’s 10 Advertising Picks of the Year

Scotch & Soda: ‘Thanks, we like you too’ installation

Amsterdam-based fashion brand Scotch & Soda is going against the tide of companies chasing Facebook ‘Likes’ – instead, they thank their loyal fans through “liking” them back.

In the campaign by Perfect Fools, Scotch & Soda Facebook fans are celebrated in a digital installation in their flagship Amsterdam store. On a digital window display, fans names animate in a handwritten style across iconic black and white Scotch & Soda images selected from the current season’s collections.

The installation was unveiled on Tuesday 13 December at Scotch & Soda’s Heiligeweg store and will run through the peak Christmas period until January 2.

Citroën ‘Twitter Race’ one of 10 best social media campaigns

Today Ad Age presented their list of the 10 Best Social-Media Campaigns of the Year, which included the ‘Twitter Race’ for Citroën made by Euro RSCG Amsterdam and Perfect Fools.

On the 17th of November Twitter users had the chance to win a new Citroën by tweeting the driver into where to go next in and around Amersfoort, the Netherlands, and then being the first one to re-tweet once the journey was up. The tool aggregated real-time tweets tagged with #ds5race, while a live videostream from inside the car was broadcast on the Citroën NL Facebook page.

Converse Canvas scores three Silvers at Eurobest
